Financial Disclaimer and Risk Information

Version 1.0 · Effective 13 October 2026. This document forms part of the Terms of Service.

Kuantura is analytics software. This document explains what the figures in Kuantura are, what they are not, and the risks you should understand before you use them. Capitalised terms have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.

In brief

This summary is provided for convenience only. The full text below prevails.

1.Status of Kuantura

1.1Kuantura is a software tool that calculates and displays figures from data that you supply and from Third-Party Data.

1.2Kuantura is not an investment firm, bank, payment institution, fund manager, insurance intermediary or other financial institution. It is not authorised, licensed, registered or supervised by Finanstilsynet (the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway), the UK Financial Conduct Authority, or any other financial regulator.

1.3Kuantura does not provide investment advice, portfolio management, the reception, transmission or execution of orders, custody, or any other investment or ancillary service, and it does not provide tax, legal, accounting or pension advice.

1.4Your use of Kuantura is not protected by any investor-compensation scheme, deposit-guarantee scheme or financial ombudsman service.

2.No recommendation and no assessment of your circumstances

2.1Nothing in the Service is a personal recommendation, an investment recommendation, investment research, or an opinion on the present or future value or price of any financial instrument, crypto-asset or other asset.

2.2The Service works with the holdings that you record in it. That does not mean that anything in the Service is tailored advice. We have not assessed, and the Service does not take into account, your financial situation, your knowledge and experience, your investment objectives, your capacity to bear losses or your tolerance for risk.

2.3Labels, colours, rankings, comparisons with benchmarks, percentages, alerts and automatically generated text describe data. They do not express a view on what you should do, and none of them should be read as a signal to buy, hold or sell.

2.4No advisory, fiduciary, agency or trustee relationship exists between you and Kuantura.

3.Projections, simulations and scenarios

3.1Projections and other information generated by the Service about the likelihood of various investment outcomes are hypothetical in nature, do not reflect actual investment results, and are not guarantees of future results.

3.2What a Model Output is. Model Outputs are produced by statistical models. A simulation generates a large number of hypothetical paths for the value of a portfolio from assumptions about expected return, volatility and the shape of the distribution of returns, together with settings that you choose, such as the time horizon and future contributions. The result is summarised as a range, typically by percentiles.

3.3How to read a range. A percentile band shows the proportion of simulated paths that ended above or below a given value. It is a statement about the model, not about the future. A median is not an expected or likely outcome for you, and a lower percentile is not a floor: actual outcomes can be worse than the least favourable outcome displayed.

3.4Assumptions. The assumptions are derived mainly from historical data for your current holdings and for the market, and from estimates where a holding has little or no history. The history used may be short or unrepresentative. A different period, a different method or different settings would give different results.

3.5What is not modelled. Models simplify. Unless the Service expressly states otherwise, Model Outputs do not take account of taxes, transaction costs, fund and product charges, inflation, changes you may make to your portfolio in the future, liquidity constraints, issuer default, fraud, changes in law, changes in market regime, or events without historical precedent.

3.6Results change. Model Outputs change when your holdings, the underlying data, the settings or the methodology change, and results may vary from one run of a simulation to the next.

3.7Stress scenarios. A stress scenario applies an assumed or historical market shock to your current portfolio. It is an illustration of sensitivity. It is not a prediction that such an event will occur, or of how your portfolio would in fact behave if it did.

3.8Risk measures. Volatility, drawdown, value-at-risk-type measures, ratios such as Sharpe and Sortino, beta and correlation are statistical summaries of historical or simulated data. They depend on the period, the frequency of observation and the method used. They can understate risk, particularly the risk of rare and extreme events.

4.Past performance and risk of loss

4.1Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. A return that has been achieved in the past may not be achieved again.

4.2The value of investments, and the income from them, can fall as well as rise. You may get back less than you invested and may lose the entire amount. With some products, including leveraged products and derivatives, you can lose more than the amount invested.

4.3Investments denominated in a currency other than your own are also affected by movements in exchange rates.

4.4Performance figures in the Service are calculated from Your Data and from Third-Party Data, using the methods described in the Documentation. Historical value curves are reconstructed analytically and are not a record of your account as it stood on each date. Figures may differ from those reported by your broker, which may use different methods, data and conventions.

5.Market data, exchange rates and classifications

5.1Prices, exchange rates, corporate-action data, fund data and classifications such as sector, region and asset class are Third-Party Data. We do not create or verify them.

5.2Third-Party Data may be delayed, stale, incomplete, revised or wrong, and may be unavailable for some instruments, markets, currencies or dates. Prices in the Service are not real-time and are not suitable for trading decisions.

5.3Where no current price is available for an instrument, the Service may value it at the last transaction price or another fallback value, which may differ materially from its market value.

5.4Every Output that depends on Third-Party Data is affected by its quality and availability.

6.Benchmarks and indices

6.1A benchmark comparison in the Service may be based on an exchange-traded fund or another proxy that seeks to track an index, and not on official index data. The return of a fund differs from the return of the index it tracks because of charges, tracking difference, the treatment of distributions, taxation and currency.

6.2A benchmark may be measured in a currency other than your display currency, and may not be an appropriate comparison for your portfolio. Choosing a benchmark, and deciding whether it is relevant to you, is your responsibility.

6.3Index names and fund names are the trade marks of their respective owners and are used solely to identify the benchmark concerned. Those owners do not sponsor, endorse or promote Kuantura, have no connection with it, and accept no responsibility for it or for any Output.

7.Imported data and your broker’s records

7.1Outputs are calculated from the transactions and holdings that are recorded in your Account. If that data is incomplete or wrong, the Outputs will be too.

7.2Files and data from Third-Party Platforms are interpreted by automated rules, which may misread, misclassify, duplicate or omit transactions, and may not handle every corporate action correctly. A direct connection may provide current positions only and not your full history.

7.3The statements and records issued by your broker, bank, fund manager or custodian are the authoritative record of your holdings, transactions, income and costs. Check any figure that matters to a decision against them.

8.Crypto-assets

8.1Crypto-assets are highly volatile and can lose all of their value. They are, to a large extent, not covered by the investor-protection rules and compensation schemes that apply to traditional financial instruments.

8.2Price and history data for crypto-assets is less complete and less reliable than for listed securities, varies between trading venues, and may be unavailable for smaller tokens. Outputs for crypto-assets, and Model Outputs in particular, are correspondingly less robust.

9.Tax

9.1Figures relating to tax, gains, losses, cost basis, dividends, income and fees are computational aids. They are based on simplified rules and on the data in your Account, and may use a cost-basis method that differs from the one required by the tax rules that apply to you.

9.2These figures are not a tax calculation, a tax return or tax advice, and must not be used as the basis for a tax filing. Use the annual statements issued by your broker and the information provided by your tax authority, and consult a qualified tax adviser where necessary.

10.Your decisions and professional advice

10.1You alone decide whether to buy, hold or sell any asset, and you alone are responsible for those decisions and for their consequences.

10.2The Service is one source of information among several. It is not a substitute for your own judgement, or for advice from an appropriately authorised financial adviser who knows your circumstances. If you are unsure whether an investment is suitable for you, seek such advice.

10.3Outputs are provided for your own use. No other person may rely on them.

11.Territory; no offer or solicitation

11.1The Service is operated from Norway. It is not directed at any person in a jurisdiction where its provision or use would be unlawful, or would require Kuantura to hold a licence, registration or authorisation that it does not hold.

11.2Nothing in the Service or on our website is an offer, invitation or solicitation to buy or sell any financial instrument, crypto-asset or other asset, or to engage in any investment activity. The appearance of an instrument, issuer, fund, broker or platform in the Service is not a recommendation of it.

12.Professional users

12.1If you use the Service in a professional capacity, you are the provider of any service to your own clients. You are responsible for holding the authorisations that this requires, for the suitability of your advice, for all disclosures and communications to your clients, including compliance with the rules on presenting past, simulated and future performance, and for reviewing every Output before you use it.

12.2You must not present an Output as advice or as an opinion of Kuantura, or as verified or guaranteed by Kuantura.

13.Data sources and attributions

13.1Market and reference data in the Service is obtained from third-party data providers and public sources, which may change from time to time.

13.2Exchange-rate data includes official reference rates published by Norges Bank, the central bank of Norway, made available as open data under the Norwegian Licence for Open Government Data (NLOD).

13.3Crypto-asset price data includes data provided by CoinGecko.

13.4The providers of Third-Party Data give no warranty and accept no liability in connection with the data or with any Output.

14.Reporting an error

14.1If a figure looks wrong, please tell us at support@kuantura.com, with the instrument and the figure concerned, so that we can investigate.
